After such an exciting time in Spain, it's time for Italy! We are ported in Naples, which is pretty dirty with garbage piles lining the streets. But the people are friendly (especially to the blondes!). A guy outside of a small cafe was saying "You want sandwich? You want boyfriend?". It was pretty funny. It's a running joke here now.
The first day we went to the Pompeii ruins. It took half the day and was exhausting! The ruins were interesting to see but I heard Herculaneum, another city that was preserved is even better to go to. Here a couple pics from Pompeii...
Today we went to Mt. Vesuvius and our ship departs for Rome tonight. We are having a 4th of July BBQ on the ship tonight! We're all pretty excited. I hope you all are celebrating!
Here are a few pictures from Spain. I'll add more, hopefully when I can use faster internet. But for now, I hope you enjoy these!
Our yummy coffee!
Me, Jenni, Adrienne and Amy:)
Amy and Adrienne figuring out where to go before lunch.
Yummy!!!
My favorite sign :) There's so much happening!
Off to get pizza at the same place Julia Roberts ate in Eat, Pray, Love! Yum!
Until Rome...

Caity, Congratulations on your engagement! It was SO romantic, and having the photos to document that happy moment is just awesome. I loved the picture of the two of you hugging. It is such a joyful image! This is wonderful and I am so happy for you both.
Your ring is beautiful!
Lots of Love to you and Brian,
Sharon
There is SO much going on in that blue sign. I'm still trying to decipher it. There's an adult and a kid kicking a ball. A car is either driving toward or away from them. There's a curb and a house. Put it all together and... I still don't know.
I know, right?! That's why I found it so interesting... I think the car is driving towards the people, the adult threw the ball in the road just so the kid would run and get it in front of the car. Sick Italians.
Look out for kids playing soccer in the street! Hope you are well - miss you!
